Core Pacific City, also known as the Living Mall is a shopping center in Taipei, Taiwan. The structure of this mall is a complex of two buildings - an L-shaped building which contains specialty boutiques connected to a sphere which contains the Mira Department Store. It is said it is the biggest sphere-shaped shopping mall in the world. The sphere is inspired by the historical use of spherical forms, the dragon’s fiery ball. The complex consists of 12 above-ground stories and 7 underground levels. When it first opened, the mall was open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. As one of the first of several large-scale malls in Taiwan.
