This large scale, mixed-use commercial complex is located at Tung-Hwa South Road, one of the most attractive boulevards in the east of Taipei. The essentially rectangular site permitted a total building area of 110,000 square meters (1,184,070 square feet), serving as a headquarter office building for Far Eastern Group, a 5-star hotel, a retail store and many other funcitons. The design translated this building into a development consisting of two 42-storey towers, which rise above a 6-storey podium and six basement levels.

Core Pacific City, also known as the Living Mall is a shopping center in Taipei, Taiwan. The structure of this mall is a complex of two buildings - an L-shaped building which contains specialty boutiques connected to a sphere which contains the Mira Department Store. It is said it is the biggest sphere-shaped shopping mall in the world. The sphere is inspired by the historical use of spherical forms, the dragon’s fiery ball. The complex consists of 12 above-ground stories and 7 underground levels. When it first opened, the mall was open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. As one of the first of several large-scale malls in Taiwan.

The Taipei World Trade Center was started in January 1986 by Taiwan's foremost trade promotion organization, the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), to provide a single, modern venue that would combine exhibition space, conference facilities, offices, and hotel accommodation for international business. This four-in-one complex, located in the city's Xinyi District, is designed to accommodate the needs of the international business community.
