Highlights: Tianjin Juilliard School, located in Tianjin, is the first oversea campus of Juilliard School. There are four separated buildings, the Concert Hall (641 seats), the Auditorium (295 seats) and the Blackbox Theater (235 seats), all library, all of which are in irregular polyhedral shapes. The four buildings are located at four corners of the campus, around the central hall. The buildings are connected by five zigzagged corridors. There are two levels for the corridors, connecting teaching studios, practice rooms and classrooms. Unlike ordinary school buildings, Juilliard School project integrates architectural inspiration with acoustic technology, with advanced noise control and vibration isolation, ensure the indoor noise level is below 15 decibels.
